WEATHER ALERT - Heavy Showers, Localised Flooding Risk 18 Oct 2012


WEATHER ALERT (SOUTHWEST and N/E ULSTER)

Heavy showers will continue to affect parts of the southwest, west and northeast this afternoon. There is an increased risk of localised flooding in eastern and northern parts of Ulster due to already saturated ground here. 

Northerly winds will also reach force 6 or higher this afternoon from Mizen Head to Slyne Head to Malin Head.

Thunderstorms Push North, Clearing Later


A series of fast moving thunderstorms are continuing to push north across the country.
